Global Trade Chamber Internship Program 
The Global Trade Chamber internship program provides graduates or undergraduate students with a unique and expansive research experience that introduces all aspects of international trade, supply chain management, international business, marketing, online marketing, business consulting, public relations, market research, project management, leadership. This prepares interns for capstone or senior thesis projects, graduate school, and/or research- based employment opportunities and hands on experience. The students are mentored by staff members of the chamber.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES 
1. To gain experience in design, implementation, & evaluation of worksite business programs. 
2. To understand the marketing/promotion process of a business plan. 
3. To observe interpersonal and organizational dynamics. 
4. To participate in routine department functions (i.e. staff meetings, etc.). 
5. To participate in program planning meetings and follow-up assignments. 
6. To provide research and benchmarking in select areas in business. 
7. Enhance written and verbal communication skills. 
8. Assist in program or product development.
EFFECTIVE SUPERVISION
The Global Trade Chamber will delegate a supervisor to mentor the intern during all the activities and assignments planned.

MEANINGFUL ASSIGNMENTS
The Internship program will provide the opportunity to interact with the real world in projects that involve networking events, expos, conventions, communication with top executive leaders and companies in domestic and international markets.

The experience obtained thru this internship program will impact any intern's opportunity to work as a full-time employee after graduation with the knowledge, experience and confidence to be on the top of the list of candidates when a position is available.
EVALUATION
 The Global Trade Chamber meets weekly with interns to evaluate & plan goals to be reached.

HOW TO QUALIFY
 We are looking for fast learners enrolled in associate, bachelor's, or master programs in Business Administration, Human Resources, and business-related fields with a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, former internship and work experience, demonstrated leadership ability, and team-building skills are all advantages. Versatility and the flexibility to adapt to new situations are essential.
