Scandinavian Trade Association Tampa Bay kicked off the new year with their annual meeting at Tampa Club Thursday January 23 with networking good food, refreshments and the election of the board and president.
Ivar Fiskaa was elected the new President.
Johan Lidros, Susan Sutter, Shanida De Gracia and Helena Walker were the four board members elected.
Their positions in the board will be determined at our first board meeting on 2/13/14.
The board appointed Mr. Nicholas R. De Stefano with BUSINESS SERVICES OF TAMPA BAY, LLC to head the committee for innovation, fundraising and sponsorship. They are looking for a person to head the committee for event planning.
STA has recently been contacted by Scandinavian companies who are planning to establish business in Florida and they are asking for STA help. More news will follow after their next board meeting.
They are a professional team and are planning some great events this year. They are volunteers so they would like you to show up at the events and be a part of it in order to succeed as the only Scandinavian-American Trade Association in Tampa Bay.
