Scandinavian Trade Association Tampa Bay

Mark your calendars for Thursday October 9, 2014. STA is proud to announce that they will be hosting Florida Viking Fest commemorating Leif Ericson Day which marks the first European settlement in North America by the Vikings.

The venue is Tampa Garden Club in South Tampa, Florida on Bayshore, starting time is 6 pm. A large VIKING SHIP will be displayed outside close to Bayshore so it will be easy to find.

The main purpose of the event is to promote and unite businesses, organizations and individuals with Scandinavian background for networking and a great party by celebrating the discovery of this great land called AMERICA.

Florida Viking Fest will give us an opportunity to introduce Tampa Bay as a great place to live and do business. The event is open for general public in order to learn and get a taste of the VIKING culture. Mayor Bob Buckhhorn will proclaim 10/9 as Leif Ericson Day in the city of Tampa.

There will be a spectacular VIKING re-enactment show, music, business networking, a speaker and delicious Scandinavian food and drinks. The dress code is business casual, but we encourage you to wear a Scandinavian costume, if you have it….

By purchasing one of their sponsorship packages, businesses and organizations will be able to display information about their business at the event and advertise on their website and newsletter leading up to the event. Tickets will be announced soon.
