A Note from Jane

There's nothing better than sinking into a page-turner. While I've had a lifelong romance with fiction, this year I've been lucky enough to take the plunge into memoirs—and now I can't put them down!

Who Owes Me Night's Sleep?   Our first book event of the year hosted USA Today bestselling author Toby Neal at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, CA. We were lucky enough to help her launch Freckled, a riveting memoir that kept me up till 3 am reading! The memoir has also been chosen by the Acqualina Resort & Spa Book for their Bedside Reading Book Club.

Imagine you're one of the very first female sitcom writers in Hollywood. You're hot, sexy and determined. Hot Pants in Hollywood by the brilliant, Susan Silver also kept me up in bed for several nights straight. I laughed, I cried, and now I am honored to count her as a dear new friend! You can meet Susan Silver on May 11, 2019 at the East Hampton Street Fair, where Bedside Reading author's tent is hosting eight authors for book signings throughout the day.

This is the men's version of Eat, Pray Love, following Feder's journey from the boardroom to Bali and back. We all loved this one as well! We're thrilled that it was chosen as the first Acqualina Resort & Spa Bedside Reading Book Club pick.

Last week, Bedside Reading partnered with Random House and the Conrad New York to celebrate the publication of Ruth Reichl's new memoir Save Me the Plums—which hits book stores today! An incredible storyteller, Reichl reveals her engaging and intimate journey through the food world as a New York Times food critic and editor-in-chief at Gourmet magazine.
