And the Golden Starfish Goes to...
Lisa Rosenstein!
Lisa and her BFF Cate produced Edge City with director Eugene Martin.
The feature film went up against the likes of Sofia Coppola at the 1998 Hamptons Film Festival. Given the stiff competition, Lisa and her production team left the festival early, expecting a loss.
On the way home, Lisa got a sign from an unlikely place -- a gas station receipt -- that they had to return to the festival for the awards ceremony.
Unknown Fact: Lisa's first job as a film intern was on Reversal of Fortune in 1988. Her responsibilities included spraying Glenn Close's legs with bug spray and shopping for greek yogurt for Jeremy Irons! (Back then, you actually had to go to the Greek store on Ninth Avenue to find it!)
Unknown Tidbit: Lisa was production manager on a short film called The Pesky Suitor. The director, Karen Young asked her to list and sort headshots for the young teen girl lead. They cast an unknown Claire Danes. At a crew dinner one night, Danes' mom (who was on set because Danes was a minor at the time) got the call that Danes had been cast in My So Called Life
