How are you holding up?
This Coronavirus stuff has really gotten many of us turned upside-down and inside-out.
I even contemplated whether I would share an interview I had a few weeks back with a leadership coach, Marshall Townsend.
You see…we did the interview before things really hit hard with the virus.
After listening to the recording again, I knew this was the perfect time to share his message and introduce you to Marshall.
In the interview, Marshall shares what it means to Mark Your Ball. He illustrates the analogy between living life on the driving range vs. out on the course.
When I listened to my and Marshall's conversation again, I realized that his message is more relevant than ever!
You see, many of us play it safe and stay on the driving range, not taking the risks of what's out there on the course.
Today's events are making many of us move from the comfort of the driving range and PLOP… right onto the course
...and most likely, not by our choice.
We wonder if we’re ready…we’re worried about the unknowns…
Even if you aren't an avid golf player, you'll relate to Marshall's message. I don't even play golf and know little about the game, yet his message really hit home.
Enjoy the episode. Drop me a note after you listen…
What’s your biggest takeaway?
You friend,
P.S. Remember, I'm thinking of you. Hang in there...and until next time... find joy and appreciation in the circumstances around you. |
