From insurance to music teacher to elementary principal, Diane Ruth Finnestead is currently a leading producer in life and health insurance nationwide for those under age sixty-five and those who are Medicare-eligible. Diane is also an advocate for health reform through National Association of Health Underwriters and serves on the St. Louis board, recruiting industry professionals who share the same passion for providing intelligent insurance options to their clients.
She contributed to Bright Spots and Living My tRuth, and the upcoming, Clarity Out of Chaos; and is currently working on three stories she reflected on to gain clarity, strength, and focus during the Pandemic.
Diane spends her time traveling between her homes in St. Louis and Folly Beach, SC. She enjoys photography, bicycling, decorating, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends (including the furry ones). Her advice to aspiring writers: “When you hear something like a story or song or poem and it transports you, write about it, extend it, bend it and get the root of why it moved you …that’s just where your voice begins.”
