The Poynter Institute is looking for a detail oriented administrative assistant to support the areas of recruitment, hiring, payroll, benefits, record maintenance, contracts, general administrative tasks for the Business and Finance team and serve as a point of contact for general employee and contractor questions. The Poynter Institute has grown tremendously and is looking for a strong candidate who thrives in supporting others from behind the scenes.
The ideal candidate should be organized, have a high degree of trustworthiness due to the confidential nature of data, and must be able to keep up with simultaneous deadlines. Minimum of two years of relevant Human Resources experience is required. Associate’s degree is preferred.
