Weight loss isn’t about being good or bad. It’s about making a choice to rebel against your current status quo so that you can get the results and outcomes you want.

When you wish for something different, wishing isn’t enough.

You need to disrupt your current patterns.

You must start thinking differently, giving space for your feelings in a new way, and take different actions so that you actually get different results.

In other words, REBEL against what you have been doing that isn’t working for you anymore.

Your first step is becoming aware of your patterns, understanding what thoughts flash through your brain, what feelings pop up, and what actions you take as a result of those feelings.

For example, I’m sitting at my desk trying to write an email when I begin to think of many other things I could be doing besides this email, then I suddenly feel hungry.

The next thing I know, I’m in the kitchen rooting through the cabinets and snacking away.

Can you relate?

When you become aware that this is an ongoing pattern, it becomes easier to understand why and then be intentional about disrupting or rebelling with new thoughts, feelings, and actions.
