Dear Friends,
It's St. Paddy's Day. This means we're midway through March, then April and before you know it, it's summer! I am already feeling better.
And summer means entertaining! Summer inspires me to bake, bringing back my memories of spending summers on the beach on Fire Island. Back then (in my 20's) I was baking apple pie. I have since upped my game to blueberry. My signature recipe is "Blueberry, Peach Yogurt, Whipped Cream, Graham cracker crust pie". (recipe here)Of course, summer means lobster as the main dish. And start off with a vodka martini, straight up with a twist. Unfortunately for olive lovers, this is on my "NEVER EAT" list, along with beets and capers. Don't know why, but there you go! I'll take my martini with a twist (never olives!).
