If you look around your communities, whether at home or abroad, you will easily see social and economic problems that cry for fixing: from homelessness, diseases, trafficking in people and animals, and environmental issues to the inequality of women and minorities, inferior education, insufficient scientific research, and countless others.

The issue is what each of us can do about them: We can either turn away or contribute time, funds and expertise to help remedy the situations.

It is a tremendous pleasure to announce the official launch of The Auerbach Global-Impact Foundation (AGIF), started in mid-January this year and assembled piece by piece since then.

The AGIF is unique. Instead of focusing on fixing another worthy cause, our mission is to advance the missions of all other nonprofits …. because 50,000 fail each year. To reverse that failure rate, the AGIF provides programs, publicity, resources, training and grants so that all nonprofits — even long-established ones — can succeed and thrive. And when they do, countless communities will benefit and, though a ripple effect, all humanity will be uplifted.
