For those of you who know me, I am judgmental--when it comes to book covers! Why would you have anything less than a brilliant cover? It really baffles me. So let's see what you got!

We are proud to announce

2023 Bedside Reading Book Cover Awards!

This is our second annual event.

Why? I am an artist and I love graphic design. And, I'm obsessed with book covers. Right or wrong, we do judge a book by its cover and when you've spent so much of your time and money developing your book, writing, editing, (and editing), I only hope that your book cover reflects the true genius that you are.

In Bryan Mattimore’s book, 21 Days to a Big Idea, he shares a variety of imaginative thinking strategies to help you invent “the next big thing.”

One such strategy is to “leverage a new technology.”

At literally the click of a mouse, these programs can create for you a blog, an op-ed, an ad, or a social media headline... on any subject you wish!

Bryan used one such program: Open AI Playground, to generate a short essay on “The Future of Creativity.”

This is what I got from Open Ai Playground when I asked for an essay on “The future of creativity.” (It appeared in less than a second.)

The future of creativity is shrouded in potential but fraught with uncertainty.

But despite the challenges that lie ahead, there are reasons to be optimistic about the future of creativity.

For one, the ever-expanding capabilities of technology are giving rise to new forms of creativity. As technology becomes more sophisticated, it is opening up new possibilities for creativity and expression. 

In addition, the world is becoming increasingly interconnected, giving rise to new opportunities for collaboration and cross-pollination of ideas. The Internet and social media platforms are making it easier than ever for people to connect with one another and share ideas.

Finally, as the world becomes more complex, there is an increasing need for creative solutions to the problems we face. Whether it’s finding new ways to combat climate change or addressing the needs of an aging population, the future will require more creativity, not less.

So, while the future may be uncertain, there are good reasons to believe that creativity will continue to thrive.
