?Q&A with Bedside Reading author Kathryn Starke!

1. What does a day in your world look like when you are writing? 

I am a national literacy consultant, reading specialist, and former inner-city elementary school teacher so I spend most of my days each week supporting teachers in schools primarily on the east coast. I'm also the founder/CEO of Creative Minds Publications, an educational publishing and literacy consulting company, so I'm always reading, editing, and marketing children's books and educational materials for teachers and homeschool educators. 

2. I know you are looking to turn The Perfect Blend into a Valentine's Day themed movie? What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie of all time is The Wizard of Oz, and my favorite romantic movie is Serendipity. 

3. Where is your happy place?

My happy place always includes a hot, sunny day reading a new book by the ocean or a beautiful pool. 

4. What is a fun fact not a lot of people would guess about you? 

I have seen every single episode of every single season of every franchise of The Real Housewives on Bravo.
