8 Ways to Live a Healthy Lifestyle in 2025!!!

1 Set Healthy Goals for 2025!

Keep your goals simple and achievable.  WRITE them down. Be realistic and honest with yourself. Goals need to be measurable to reflect your lifestyle and success in 2025.

2 Eat Organic Whole Plant-Based Foods:

Keep a clear head and create healthy choices when it comes to food consumption. You can't exercise away a bad diet!! Watch Forks over Knives on Netflix.

3 S-t-r-e-t-c-h and Move Your Body!

Stretching exercises have powerful stress-busting abilities. Stretching your muscles soon after waking up can help jump-start the mind and body. Stretching loosens tight muscles helping your muscles to relax, increase blood flow, improve posture & flexibility, enhance stamina, reduce injury and soreness, improve athletic performance, increase energy levels & it encourages the release of endorphins, providing a sense of tranquility.

4 Dance and Move!

Stretching prepares the body for physical activity. Discover a physical activity that you like doing and DO IT! Enjoy dancing, going to the gym, biking, jogging, walking, swimming & engaging in sports which extends your life your life 7 minutes every time you exercise. Dance and Move! 5 Listen to your Body. 

Pay attention to the subtle signals and messages your body is sending you. Resonate with what you know the truth of within – such as knowing the body needs to eat nutritional foods and move to be healthy: Getting enough sunlight; Eating adequate servings of fruits and vegetables; Daily exercise and staying hydrated.

Sleep and Quiet time. 

6. Rest and relaxation every day.

Get a good night’s sleep. Spend some quiet time alone. Relax your body and rest in your heart and connect to the deeper you. Rest, relaxation and quiet time are the simplest and most effective things to do to alleviate stress, rebalance and recharge your health and well-being. Reflect and listen to the quiet voice in what you know in your heart.

7 Get out of your own way! 

There are always stories, reasons and excuses to not do what you know you need to do!   Listen and follow your knowing and inner guidance.  You know what to do just do it! 

8 Loving and Healthy Relationships. 

Human beings are innately designed to be social. Your physical and emotional health is directly related to how social you are and the quality of your relationships. Enjoy loving connections to family and friends and bonding with others in healthy ways which contributes to a healthy you. Abundantia Roman Goddess is the Goddess of the Month

 

In Roman mythology, Abundantia, also known as Copia, is a goddess associated with abundance and prosperity. She is often depicted holding a cornucopia filled with grain and coins, symbolizing her ability to bring wealth and plenty. According to legends, Abundantia would sometimes leave gifts of grain or money at people’s houses as a sign of her blessings.

Recipe of the Month

Ingredients

Curried Lentil, Coconut and Tomato Soup

Serves 5

Ingredients

 Add to Grocery List

1 medium onion, chopped

1 cup chopped mushrooms

2 cloves garlic, chopped

2 inch piece ginger, peeled and grated

2 tablespoons curry powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

5 cups water

1 1/2 cups red lentils

1 1/2 cups crushed tomatoes (see note)

1 (14 ounce) can unsweetened coconut milk

2 cups finely chopped kale

1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro

Instructions:

Combine onion, mushrooms, garlic, ginger, curry powder, red pepper flakes and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for five minutes. Add tomatoes, lentils, coconut milk, kale and cilantro, return to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes, until lentils are soft.

Note: Choose tomatoes packaged in BPA-free packaging.
